It's a very unique place for a once in a lifetime experience...
It's a very unique place for a once in a lifetime experience. We did some horeriding with sunrise, watched the balloons, explored the city and did beautiful hikes in the valleys that surround Goreme. The hikes we totally recommend, you escape the big group of tourism and you can just enjoy the beautiful nature. With half a week, say 4 days, you can see the most. We were there for a week, that was a bit too long, but we could take it slow which was perfectly fine for us. Be aware of sleeping not that much a night, because if you want to see the sunrise you have to wake up at 4:30. Goreme is a living town with lots going on, so don't come here only to rest. You can expect lots of tourists in this area. We ate multiple times at A la Mode Restaurant & LaLinda Brasserie, this were our favorites because of the varieties in the menu.

Göreme, a great place with lots of choices, offering a vast array of restaurants and cafés. Its walkability to the Open-Air Museum and numerous trails of various levels of difficultly provide ample opportunities to explore. The is also many opportunities to rest at charming stops along the way and have a snack of cup of tea.

A beautiful small town with access to many activities (needing at least 2 full days to complete - I recommend 3 days so you avoid too many very early starts and the opportunity to rebook the Hot Air Balloon ride if it is cancelled due to poor weather. The Red tour is more about History, the Green tour is more about scenery and there is a Blue tour to see water. the hotel has a family vibe that owner always ready to lend a helping hand. easy access to restaurants and stores. rooftop view is incredible in the morning during hot air balloon. walking distance to some tourist spots like love valley, sunset point. hotel itself have nice view of a garden with lots of plants and flowers.

Nice national park with plenty of hiking routes and guided tours around the area. The hot air balloons spectacle is also something to remember. While we did not fly one, we watched them drift in the sky as the sun was rising - and it was magical.

It is a magical place! It certainly must be on your bucket list. Goreme is quite small so it is easy to get around. Restaurants have a wonderful view, especially at night. It is worth visiting Seten restaurant, Galerie Ikman, Underground city etc.LinaUnited Kingdom

Haroun helped us book all our airport transfers and tours. The main road is walking distance from all the restaurants and travel agency's for tour bookings. Our room was spacious, clean and it had a balcony. The Turkish buffet breakfast is fresh and so appetizing. Great breakfast, typical Turkish breakfast of cold mezes. I could comfortqably spend a week at this hotel.

It is hard to compare it to other hotels because we have never slept in a cave hotel! The shower pressure was excellent. The view was incredible and there was no need to take a trip to the tall vantage point in Cappadocia to see the balloons at sunrise. They came so close to the hotel that you could hear them firing up and clearly see the passengers. Any closer would have been downright dangerous.

Inside the hotel there is Kaira Rooftop, a known rooftop in Göreme with live music at sunset. In the terrace you have a good view of the balloons but next to the hotel there is the entrance to the “sunset point” you can go there in the morning and have an even better view of the balloons. Buffet and drinks were nice. Our room was very good, specially the bathroom with bathtub. With Arif Cave hotel, you can watch it right from the terrace of the hotel. Great spot for taking your Insta photos. The best part of the hotel is the staff, especially Mr. Han (hope I got the name right). He was super helpful, very friendly and made me feel like an old friend of his. The breakfast had lots of items, more than I could eat. Highly recommend this hotel.
