In the past years, a lot of the hotel and restaurant had been renovated. The rooms were nice and the food in the restaurant was exceptional for dinner as well as breakfast. Very friendly and professional staff. Location is still within walking distance to the city center. It is also directly located on the Kerry Way.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.

She assisted us in finding the local launderettes in town, as well as a couple options for dinner on a Monday evening. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious and filled us nicely as we headed out to the Killarney National Forest and on to Dingle and Tralee.
